Then this is the album for you! The long anticipated release of Driving Force, 3rd Force's seventh recording on Higher Octave Music, adds an exhilarating chapter to the multi-faceted, gently exotic groove-oriented instrumental phenomenon that's been a mainstay of the smooth jazz format since the ensemble's self-titled 1994 debut. Featuring performances by Marc Antoine, Eric Darius, Brian Hughes, and Tom Scott, the album marks a bigger in-your-face sound for the band, honoring vintage Motor City funk and the original '70s urban cool. »Listen to Samples

Smooth Ride Home

daily 5pm - 7pm (EST)
täglich 23 - 01 Uhr (MEZ)
Winterdays, grey sky, snow storms, cold wind - the best time to enjoy a warm chimney fire and romantic smooth jazz tunes, like Special EFX, Lao Tizer, Paul Brown, Chris Botti, Peter White, Nite Flyte, Earl Carter, Maysa, Shilts, Steve Fox and many more.

Editors Pick: Earl Carter, My Paradise
National guitarist-producer Earl Carter’s new CD project My Paradise displays his ability to combine melodic phrases and tasteful guitar solos with strong rhythms and brilliant audio production (a must add for your CD collection). The right stuff for long winter nights. »Download the sample

Smooth Jazz Menue

daily 11am - 1pm, täglich 17 - 19 Uhr
hot sauce, spicy food, cool music - with with Bob James, Chris Botti, Peter White, Euge Groove, Indie Arie, Gotan Project, Jeff Lorber...

Editors Pick:
BOB JAMES, Playin' Hooky
This is smooth jazz at its best. Bob James treats us to a "musical vacation" on this CD. "Glass Hearts" is a poignant tune, embodying the musical spirit of Jobim and Chopin. I'd pay for a CD with only that song on it. "Love Is Where" features the East brothers Marcel and Nathan, and Rick Braun. "Are You Ready" is a sexually charged tune with some ingenious modulations and chords. True Bob James in every sense of the word! »Listen to Samples
